CAGE /TROLLEY HANDLING SAFETY:
· Pre-inspect your cage/cart check for smooth operation of wheels, locks & handle and look for sharp edges
· Move damaged cage/cart to Red tag area
· Handle only one cage/cart at a time
· Ensure combined height of cage/cart and packages/totes does not exceed eye level
· Always push the cage/cart & Never pull
· Follow 2x2x2x2 rule when handling cage/cart (2 eyes on the path,2 hands to hold the handles firmly ,2 feet to walk at constant speed, 2 meter distance to be maintained from others)
· Slow down at the end of every aisle and shout “CORNER” at intersections to avoid collision.
· Place scanner in holder –Do not carry scanner in one hand and push with other
· Park carts/cages in designated areas only and apply wheel locks.
· Whenever keeping Cage/carts in VRC, always lock the carts and close the doors properly.
· पहिये, लॉक और हैंडल के सुचारू संचालन के लिए अपने केज / कार्ट की जांच का निरीक्षण करें और तेज शार्प एज की तलाश करें
· क्षतिग्रस्त केज/ कार्ट को रेड टैग क्षेत्र में ले जाएं
· एक समय में केवल एक केज/ कार्ट संभालें
· केज/ कार्ट और पैकेज / कुल की संयुक्त ऊंचाई सुनिश्चित करें कि आंख के स्तर से अधिक न हो
· हमेशा केज/ कार्ट को धक्का दें और कभी न खींचें
· केज/ कार्ट को संभालते समय 2x2x2x2 नियम का पालन करें (रास्ते में 2 आंखें, हैंडल को मजबूती से पकड़ने के लिए हाथ , 2 फीट स्थिर गति से चलने के लिए, 2 मीटर की दूरी दूसरों से बनाए रखने के लिए)
· हर गलियारे के अंत में धीमा और टकराव से बचने के लिए चौराहों पर "कॉर्नर" चिल्लाओ।
· स्कैनर को धारक में रखें - कभी भी स्कैनर को हाथ में ले के दूसरे के साथ धक्का ना दें
· केज/ कार्ट को केवल निर्दिष्ट क्षेत्रों में पार्क करे और उनके पहिया को लॉक करें।
· जब भी वीआरसी में केज /कार्ट रखें, हमेशा उनके पहिया लॉक को करें और दरवाजे ठीक से बंद करें।
